records. First 100 copies should be signed by the composer.
Currently it hasn't been confirmed if Buck Sanders (who co-composed
the score) will be also signing it. The music is described asVery carpenteresque in some cues and one
downright beautiful cue straight out of the funeral scene from
Hellboy. No adaptation of music from the videgame is included.
Awesome score though. Approximately one month later selections
from two MESRINE movies will be released on CD in France. 75% of the
score included in both films was composed by Marcus Trumpp with the

Both THE HURT LOCKER and AMUSEMENT are already finished as well as
IN THE ELECTRIC MIST. In fact, the working schedule this year
started with AMUSEMENT which was already finished a few months ago
and was followed by IN THE ELECTRIC MIST (Marco Beltrami and Buck

and THE HURT LOCKER which were both recorded approx 2 weeks ago. And
as always there is something new in the pipeline and they are
currently working on a sci-fi REPOSSESSION MAMBO, which is set in
the near future when artificial organs can be bought on credit, it
revolves around a man who struggles to make the payments on a heart
he has purchased. He must therefore go on the run before said ticker
is repossessed. The film was directed by Miguel Sapochnik (The
Dreamer) based on the script by Eric Garcia adapted from his own
novel. It includes rather promising casts of Jude Law, Forest
Whitaker, Liev Schreiber and Alice Braga. The film will be released
by Universal Pictures. No release date has been set yet.
01/05/08:
From Mikael Carlsson's Upcoming Film Scores blog: "Marco Beltrami

Simpson (Freeze Frame). Beltrami replaced Debbie Wiseman as the
composer on the film after she had to withdraw due to conflicting
schedules. AMUSEMENT is a classic stalker thriller, to be released
by Picturehouse Entertainment and New Line Cinema in September.
Stars include Jessica Lucas, Katheryn Winnick and Laura
Breckenridge. Beltrami has also written the music for THE HURT
LOCKER, Kathryn Bigelow's Iraq war thriller starring Ralph Fiennes,
Guy Pearce and David Morse."
