2024: September 02: Three new
projects confirmed In recent interview with Film
Music Site Marco Beltrami confirmed several of his current
and upcoming projects.
1) He is currently busy scoring upcoming
documentary THE SIEGE OF GALLAUDET for Davis Guggenheim
(Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie). In March 1988, Gallaudet
University experienced a watershed event that led to the
appointment of the 124-year-old university’s first deaf
president.
2) Another project currently in the
works for Marco Beltrami and Miles Hankins is NINE
PERFECT STRANGERS: SEASON 2, which recently finished
shooting in Austria and Germany, where the crew spent first
six motnhs of this year. Nicole Kidman returns as Masha
accompanied by the whole new cast including Henry Golding,
Mark Strong, Lena Olin, Christine Baranski, Annie
Murphy and Murray Bartlett among others. So far no
specific release date has been announced.
3) Also coming soon is
Marco Beltrami's second collaboration with Bong Joon Ho
(Snowiercer), which is currently in early stages. Their new
project together is currently untitled animated feature, which
will include voice talent of Werner Herzog. Very little has
been revealed about this project except that it "deals with
the drama that arises between deep sea creatures and human
beings."

2024: November 14: BLADE 2 Deluxe
Edition announced Varese Sarabande has announced expanded
edition of Marco Beltrami's score for BLADE 2. Limited edition
2CD will go on sale tomorrow, while download
version is already available everywhere where it's Friday
already. Running 96 minutes, the new version more than
tripples playing time of the old album. Check project's page

available.
2024: November 07: HMMA nomination
for THE KILLER Hollywood Music in Media Awards have
revealed their nominees for its 15th award season. Marco is
nominated for his score for THE KILLER in Best Score for
TV/Streamed Movie. For the full list of nominees, check the HMMA
website . The award ceremony will take place on November
20th in Los Angeles.
2024: October 25: Two new interviews
published last month
It has been rather quiet over the last
couple of weeks but in the meantime there has been two new

D. Larson and by Film Music Institut, which also featured
editor Zach Staenberg and was focused mostly on their

2024: September 06: THE UNHOLY
TRINITY One more new project has
just been revealed: upcoming western THE UNHOLY TRINITY will
feature original score by Marco Beltrami co-composed with his
son Tristan who previously contributed additional music for
SILENT NIGHT. Richard Grant (Robert the Bruce) directed movie
is set against the turbulent backdrop of 1870s Montana and
follows a father who gives his estranged son an impossible
task: murder the man who framed him for a crime he didn’t
commit. Pierce Brosnan, Samuel L. Jackson, Brandon
Lessard, Ethan Peck, David Arquette and Q’orianka
Kilche star in the movie, which will premiere during Zurich
Film Festival next month. No wide release date has been
announced yet.
2024: September 02: In the L.A.
area? Meet Marco, Brandon, Marcus & Anna This coming Sunday at 3 PM, Dark
Delicacies (822 N. Hollywood Way, Burbank) will be hosting
special signing event featuring all Fear Street composers, who
will be signing copies of Intrada's recent 5CD set. If you
can't make it in person and live in either U.S. or Canada, you
can also order
a copy and have it delivered. If you are living in the

2024: August 19: THE KILLER album
details revealed Back Lot will
release Marco Beltrami's score for THE KILLER this Friday.
Featuring roughly 55 minutes of original score plus new
song reuniting Marco with Jorane (I am Dina). So far the
only digital release has been confirmed. Samples will be
coming during next few days. Check the project page for full
album details and photos from recoring sessions as well as
recent premiere in L.A.
2024: August 06: FEAR STREET 5CD box
set now available Released
today, featuring more than 4 hours of music across 5 CDs.

2024: July 30: FEAR STREET CD

Records announced 5 CD release of FEAR STREET TRILOGY scores.
While no specific release date has been announced, the set is
most likely to be available to order next Monday afternoon

2024: July 23: Ballerina
update Marco Beltrami and Anna Drubich are no
longer involved in upcoming Ballerina. After number of delays
and extensive reshoots by a different director, entire
post production team has been changed. While no new composer
has been announced, the usual John Wick team can be expected,
but at this point who cares,
anyway.
2024: July 17: THE KILLER trailer
and soundtrack album announcement The first
trailer for John Woo's upcoming THE KILLER was just released.
The movie will debut on Peacock on August 23rd and the
soundtrack album will be released by Back Lot
Music.
2024: June 26: Anna Drubich: Music
for Stage and Screen website Launching
tomorrow to coincide with Mrs Drubich's birthday, the brand
new unofficial website will go public. You can be among the

by Universal Pictures / Peacock on August 23rd. So far no
trailer or final poster have been released but will be added

2024: June 16: PICTURES AT AN
EXHIBITION While the film related news
have been rather sparse recently - except for THE KILLER score
finally being recorded a couple weeks ago, Marco Beltrami
recently participated ín PICTURES IN EXHIBITION concert
celebrating the works of artist Bob Peak. While the first half
of the concert presented original scores from various projects
Bob Peak provided his spectacular posters for (Star Trek: The
Motion Picture, West Side Story, Apocalypse Now and many
more), the second half consisted of newly commissioned pieces
from 10 composers. Each of the composers was given a
painting as an inspiration to compose a brand new piece (check
this interview with Mychael Danna where
he discussed the project and his work based on painting of
Mother Teresa). Marco's 5-minute piece was inspired by 1983
The Spirit of Sport - Special Olympics painting (check
the May 20 post). The premiere took place on June 14th and
Disney Concert Hall with legendary Leonard Slatkin leading the
L.A. Film Orchestra. All ten new
pieces are also being recoded and release is in the
works. In the meantime, you can check the first clip from

2024: June 05: :-( Thanks to the copyright related blackmail
regarding one ancient low resolution photo (350 EUR), some of
the pages will be temporarily unavailable and while the
website will have to suffer removal of a ton of content, there
is nothing else I can do to avoid going through this
unfortunate nightmare all over again. Since its launch, this
website hasn¨t generated a single penny, yet it is entirely a
labour of love and has cost a lot of money for the domain name

2024: May 20: PICTURES AT AN
EXHIBITION details More details have been revealed regarding
upcoming PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION project. Marco Beltrami
will be composing his movement "based" on Bob Peak's painting
entitled Special Olympics. For those lucky few in the L.A.

for the June 14th concert at Walt Disney Hall.
2024: May 14: THE KILLER recording
sessions The score for John Woo's THE KILLER was
recorded last week in London at Abbey Road Studio 2. Check
Marco's instagram
for the first clip from the score and a few photos. Here is an
excerpt from Marco's description: "An
unusually romantic and fun way to score bloody action scenes
that look almost like ballet!" So far no release date has been
confirmed.
2024: April 24: New 10-movement
concert work with 10 composers Marco Beltrami is one of ten composers
contributing a movement for upcoming concert tribute
to Bob Peak - PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION. Here is an
excerpt from the announcement
from Robert Townson: "I have countless favorite classical
pieces, but one of my favorites has always been Mussorgsky’s
Pictures at an Exhibition. But much as I loved Mussorgsky’s
original piece, my idea was to create a new Pictures at an
Exhibition for a new age. To have all new music composed and
have the inspiration for all the new music be the paintings of
Bob Peak. Not his film paintings. They already have music
attached to them. His other artwork. He did almost everything.
New York World’s Fair 1964, 100th Anniversary of New York’s
Brooklyn Bridge, he painted portraits of Mother Teresa, John
Kennedy, Anwar Sadat, The Band that were featured on 45
different Time Magazine covers! He did paintings for The
Olympics and the Special Olympics. For the United Nations and
for the Academy of Motion Pictures arts and Sciences. He
painted cars, and beautiful women and couples, and the
American West. He did so much work, it could inspire 50
different versions of Pictures at an Exhibition. For 25 years
it was a dream." The other
composers involved are: Michael Abels, Jeff Beal, Bill Conti,
Mychael Danna, Ihab Darwish, Don Davis, Harry
Gregson-Williams, Maria Newman and Marc Shaiman. Leonard
Slatkin will conduct the world premiere on June 14th. For more

APPLES NEVER FALL Full trailer for upcoming
7-part Peacock series has just been released. Marco Beltrami
and Miles Hankins have joined forces to score the series,
which will debut (in its entirety) on March 14. So far no
soundtrack album has been confirmed.

original works by esteemed musicians such as Marco Beltrami,
Jongnic Bontemps, David Cerquetti, Anna Drubich, Peter Golub,
